Brie supports J&O clients with building powerful teams as they grow and scale. She has extensive experience advising clients on the many issues companies face throughout the employment life cycle, including hiring, terminations, reductions in force, internal investigations, wage and hour issues, disability and accommodations, statutory leave, and compliance with the rapidly changing employment regulatory landscape.
Prior to joining J&O, Brie was an associate in the Employment, Labor & Benefits group at Mintz Levin. Before that, she was an associate counsel at the New York State United Teachers and a field attorney at the National Labor Relations Board. Brie grew up in Connecticut and received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College, where she majored in Critical Social Thought, and her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During college, she spent a semester living and studying in Havana, Cuba and during law school, she spent a semester abroad at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running, yoga, and gardening.
